What is a proprietary blend?

A proprietary blend groups multiple ingredients under a combined blend amount rather than necessarily showing the amount of every ingredient individually. That can make it harder for a consumer to compare the formula with doses used in research or competing products.

What it does not mean

A proprietary blend is not, by itself, proof that a product is good or bad. It is a transparency consideration. Evaluate the entire label, claims, safety information and evidence.
